Patient Information
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training after dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, the surgeons at Oral Surgery Group manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. The surgeons practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from facial surgery to corrective jaw surgery and wisdom tooth removal. They can also diagnose and treat facial pain, and facial injuries, and perform a full range of dental implant procedures.
This office staff is trained in assisting with intravenous sedation, with board certified anesthesiologists, within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. In addition, general anesthesia, that is also provided by a board certified anesthesiologist is available at Western Surgery Centre or in some cases Seven Oaks General Hospital.
